As I've said before, although I love kitchens I DO NOT like to cook. This is problematic when you have a hungry 5 year old. Luckily my lil one loves to help out in the kitchen so on the rare occasions when I do prepare a 'real' (yes, I do feed my child but rarely prepare 3 course meals like mom did way back in the day) meal for the family she's right there on her chair next to our island with her apron on.
I subscribe to the Whole Foods newsletter and the edition I received today was entitled '181 recipes for cooking with kids'. These sound so yummy and fun to make together:
'Cheesy lasagna rolls':

or 'crunchy homemade chicken nuggets':

and for dessert these 'chocolate chocolate chip cookies' (minus the walnut since she has a severe allergy to nuts):

If you click on the titles it will take you to the recipe and instructions. Thank you Whole Foods for providing me with some much needed ideas.
Please share any great recipes you have and/or tricks to getting picky eaters to eat!
