*rest*

How beautiful it is to do nothing...
...and then rest afterward.

  1. GM T, I like your theory about rest, I am right there with you. I don't think we take enough time to rest as women we think we have to be busy all the time. We need time to refuel. Thank you for always coming by to let me know you were at my blog. I so appreciate seeing you there. Were'nt those bottles crazy/wonderful. I am so glad to meet a fellow bottle lover. I am seriously going to take a trip to Dean and Deluca to buy some water bottles. I loved that little round eco bottle, too cute. Have a great weekend and rest up!! Kathysue

  2. I'm certainly with you on this. I have quite a demanding job during the week so try to rest (or at least craft, which I enjoy) as much as possible on the weekend. I'm ashamed to say that it's after lunch here in the UK and I've only just got out of my pajamas!
Thank you for your lovely comments on my paris pillow and my painted signs. I used new wood for the signs and then sanded and distressed them though I do agree they would look great on old battered wood!

  4. Sometimes that is just how I feel, too. I have days when I go hard all day long and then days when I do very little and then nothing at all..we all need those days. Love your blog, Hugs, Cindy S

I wanted to ask you...where did you get your pure butter and cheese trays? I love how you use them all over for your displays ~

  13. What lovely images!! And thoughts...

Thanks for your note on my blog - I am planning to meet Joni but we have not scheduled any shopping! Do you have a few good Houston shops you could suggest, or maybe one area with a few good shops. I would love to find unique but affordable places to pick up some beautiful decor accessories (that fit in a suitcase). I will be in class two days, and then Saturday David wants to go to the Johnson space center (have you been?). We might go to Galveston. So I will have veyr little time to shop, but might get in a round with Joni on Sat or Sunday. Also, we have only the rental car, so David will be tagging along...not great for shopping haha!

I also wanted to visit the Galleria to get my american store fix.

Anyway, if you have a few quick suggestions for pretty shops, I would be indebted as I am not sure if Joni will have time.

    Thanks!!! xo Terri

    P.S. Have fun in Calgary!!

  19. Sign me up for that agenda! I want to lay around, read (for pleasure..no textbooks allowed), and then nap the day away. Oh...just the thought.
