::Texture::

While I appreciate texture in home decor; nubby twine and burlap with faded~aged wood, chippy~peely paint, dried lavender, smooth white ironstone against rusty wire and metal...

...not-so-much in my personal appearance, where I'm always seeking; radiant, wrinkle and spot free skin, smooth, shiny, and lustrous hair...I have some great new products to share with you and all are under $15!

Most of the products I've come to ♥, I found out about via word of mouth. So~ like any good girlfriend should, I'm passing the word on to you.

- Earthly Delights shampoo and conditioner- My work friend Cristal turned me on to this and it's apparently very hard to find, but most Whole Foods stores carry it {but they have a hard time keeping the shelves stocked from what they've told me}. Ignore the generic label, as this stuff is all natural with ingredients that you can actually pronounce. After washing with the shampoo your hair will feel a bit dry, but once you slap on the conditioner, it's pure heaven. It smells good and makes my hair really feel clean, shiny, and smooth {trust me, if anything can smooth my thick and unruly hair, it's worth sharing}. These bottles are large (16oz) and cost $15 each.

- Moroccan oil- I first read about this here, so I rushed out and found a small bottle for $15. I love the smell and actually prefer to use it on my 'au naturale' hair days where I don't blow dry and just run out the door.

- Merlot moisturizer- Any wine drinker knows about the power of the grape, but all natural grape seed for your skin? Yes.

My beautiful and sweet friend Cindy told me about this stuff. You can buy it at Walgreen's in Texas or on their website here. I just started using it two weeks ago and I keep noticing that my skin has a healthy glow. This is also $15!

I read about GOSH touch up concealer on a British blog awhile back but was hesitant to order online. I found it at the drugstore in Canada and decided to try it and I ♥ it! I've always had really dark circles under my eyes and I use the yellow Borghese concealer (from Costco) under my tinted moisturizer and put this stuff on top, after I put on eyeshadow and liner. It covers really well without sinking in to those pesky wrinkles and lasts all day.

If you're not in Canada or Europe you can find it here, for $14.

Be sure to check out my post here about some other tips and my homemade wrinkle serum recipe. “People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”
