...for a special someone to visit me later this week.
One of my best friends in the world is coming from New York to visit us for an extended weekend.

This past weekend was filled with end of summer play dates and lots of quality time with the little one playing board games and watching movies at home. I did manage to sneak in some fluffing around the house to prepare for my guest.
Fresh flowers all around the house and the fridge is stocked. All that's left is buying lots of white wine and prosecco for our girls weekend.
I hung this London subway sign~chalk board that I made a few months ago {which I've had hidden away}. I like having it here next to the white hall tree and chandy where it really stands out.

Can't seem to get the hang of logging in to comment!!! I've been keeping up while away. The chalkboard wall and powder bath turned out awesome (I wouldn't give Rob any chalk though if I were you:). Glad you guys enjoyed your weekend before N went back to school! Looking forward to catching up and hearing about your trip...
