While your presence almost made me skip out on work this afternoon, I held to my work ethic and just enjoyed seeing your golden tones through my ninth floor office window.
Thank you for warming me up and shining into my home these past few days.
While your rays may not have all of the tulips in bloom just yet, I'm appreciating the beauty of these little pom pom daisys for now.
Did you invite the bright blue skies to join you in Houston or was it the other way around?

Do you know what a positive impact your presence has on people after you've been gone for days or even weeks?
I'm sorry to ask you so many questions, but I do have one more question and a small favor to ask.
Has anyone invited you to stay in Houston for the entire weekend?
If not, please accept my formal invitation to stick around until at least noon on Sunday. I understand that you might have a previous engagement, but you see, we have a big race here on Sunday morning and rumor has it that you'll be long gone and another, less runner~friendly and wet type of visitor will be in town. I can assure you that there are about 30,000 of us who would much rather have you in town during this event {even if you have to spread yourself a bit thin and start moving up North to melt all of that snow}, than the uninvited, dreary, water~logged visitor.
Don't get me wrong, we will welcome that visitor immediately upon your departure, as planned, but if we can extend your stay and delay their arrival just a bit, we'd really appreciate it!
Thanks for your understanding and cooperation~
♥

ReplyDeleteYou are the CUTEST! Such clever wording! And I love your new photo trick (BW with color...tell us what tool you used. I'm sure it's easier than the sluggish Photoshop way!).
