West U Home Tour 2011

Rev up your house-stalking engines Houstonians. On Sunday May 1st, the city of West University Place will be hosting a home tour. The tour includes 7 homes in our community and the proceeds go to our fabulous elementary school. You can wet your appetites by reading a description of each home here.

Here's a peek at the exterior of each home.

You may recognize the front of this home from Joni's numerous posts about the incredibly talented Sally Wheat.

I'm particularly excited to see Heidi Dugan's home as Ginger Barber designed the interior. My sweet friend Laurie will have her home (pictured above) featured in the tour and I'll be volunteering my time to be a hostess there for a few hours during the tour. Her home is incredible and she regularly invites me to run down the street and check out changes she makes inside. It's such fun to watch how she processes and visualizes things and then to see the final results.

How about this room to entice you to want to see the rest of her home. Her master bedroom was recently featured in Texas Home & Living {here}. See my post here for more glimpses into Laurie's home from last year.

You can purchase tickets for the West U Home Tour 2011 at Rice Epicurean Markets, Abejas, Antiques & Interiors on Dunlavy. More ticket information here.

Remember, it's on Sunday, May 1st. Please stop by the Pearson home between 3 and 5 and say hello, I'd love to see you!!
