Finishing touches

This new chair arrived on Monday.

Once I finish the last details in the family room I'll snap some pics and share with you.

Playing around with photos in the family room last night. I hate the way flash photos look so I added some texture in picnik. I'll be sure to get loads of daylight pictures this weekend.

I got a new toy for my birthday that I'm excited to practice with. I'm hopeful that my days of photo editing and adding textures will taper a bit now. Although it feels like what I imagine driving an 18~wheeler for the first time would feel like. A bit out of control and very confusing. I think some photography classes are in my very near future.

Our in-house comfort control manager gave this chair the paws up!

The second in command gives the new couch her approval {after crying over seeing the leather sofa and chair carted away}. She's even humored me by not eating or drinking in the family room anymore. If only her furry boss would humor me by putting slippers on his muddy paws before lounging on my white couch and tan linen chair. ☺
Things have really come together in this room and I can't wait to post some before, during and finally the happily~ever~after pictures!!
