A change of scenery

Another long run

in another beautiful place,

just one week later {see previous week's run along the beach here}.

From the ocean breeze and sand under foot,

to crisp, cool autumn air and the crunch of leaves...

Rosalia de Castro quote With my trusty iphone in hand, I set out to pound the pavement in unfamiliar territory. Thanks to a small map that our friend Erin drew for me, my run through the streets of Wrentham, Ma was a success and I found my way back to their fabulous home.

I couldn't resist snapping pics of some of the charming homes along my route. All dressed up with pumpkins and fall displays. Nothing appeals to me more than the traditional colonial and cape style homes found on the east coast.

Bright blue skies overhead.

And back to the casa.

Our friends tried to convince us to make a move to this area. Country mouse {moi} was all for it, but mr. big mean city mouse says NO.

Guess I'll be huffing and puffing on my weekly long runs deep in the ♥ of Texas for a few more years. ☺
