{blanche:white}

I have been suffering some major design withdrawal lately. Is it just me, or is everything feeling pretty stale out there? The real estate market has slowed and I've pinned every awe-inspiring space that I can find on pinterest.

Before we start seeing holiday decor take over the blog world, I'm going to soak up every bit of this drool~worthy, non holiday~ish home.

Enjoy!

Antique grain sacks and white walls everywhere.

Sparkly chandys in every room with floor to ceiling windows. Tufted linen and stacks of design books.
Chippy, peely paint, mismatched chairs and antique mirrors.

Open shelving in the kitchen with a skirted sink and petite chandy. Collection of milk glass on display.

Claw footed tub, fireplace in master/bath, painted wood floors, exposed ceiling beams and white shutters.

All so romantic and dreamy to me. Nothing beats dreamy spaces in far away places....ah.

Happy Monday all!

  1. And space - space space space! 'Things' can't really compete -

    Isn't it interesting how different the dining area looks from the two angles?

  11. This is one of my most favorite homes in blogland. I think it's an old factory?
    And I am NOT looking forward to the takeover of holiday decor. It will surely be starting soon....

    Hope you are enjoying the fall, now that you're home for a little while. :)

  15. I've been feeling the hand of staleness in the design world as well Tricia, but thank heavens, there are still beautiful and 'unique' spaces such as what you've shown here that have such a special point of view and cause a little fluttering when seen. The way they've mixed the sparkly with the contemporary, with the well worn is really pretty...and I'd like to confiscate all that milkglass too, it's a love of mine!
    Thanks for posting these..
