{merry & bright}

via

Last weekend was spent wrapping gifts...

...attending Houston's Nutcracker Ballet,

...sprucing the house to prepare for out of town guests,

...and putting the finishing touches on wine bottle gifts.

Oh, and I ran my final long run {21 l.o.n.g miles} in prep for my first full marathon {post here} in just 2 1/2 weeks~ eek!

I'm taking the rest of the week off from work and am ready to go full tilt into holiday mode. Decorating sugar cookies, family lunches out, last minute shopping, a holiday movie or two, picking up Christmas brunch and dinner items and adult only dinners with friends~ YAY, it's Christmas!! ☺

I'm so excited for you to run your first full marathon!

excited and a little jealous, if I'm honest....wishing my body would allow me to run. :)

Have a great week off from work....Merry, Merry Christmas!

Have I ever asked you what your career is?

totally snooping.

Oh, I am so jealous that you're running a marathon, Tricia! The most I've run ever (10 yrs ago) was four! I've recently taken up running again (1/2 hour 3 days/wk on my treadmill) to lose some weight. Can you give me any tips that will help? How long before I see a difference in my body? Do you lift weights, too? Have a blessed Christmas with friends and family, sweetie! ♥
