a little bling

I wanted a little something to commemorate my marathon finish . I spent a few weeks searching online for the perfect thing. With the help of everyone's favorite time sink obsession pinterest, I found Erica Sara Designs.

I wanted something small enough to wear every day and not worry about it tarnishing etc.

Here's an image of my marathon gift to myself. ☺

26.2 on the front....

...Tricia/ 1.8.12 on the back. Not only is Erica a talented designer of bling and a great business women {we emailed a few times throughout the week about the necklace design and she was very responsive AND I received my necklace within a week of ordering!}, she is a runner and a blogger as well. You can check out her blog here.

Thanks for my new race bling Erica~ I love it!

Happy Monday all~

i love that you bought yourself something to remember it by. That's cool. Also, you inspired me, Tricia. I started running again yesterday. I am going to train for a half marathon in Oct. Thank you

Now that's a finisher medal! What a great idea. I buy myself a little something pretty when I finish a half- a pair of earrings, nothing too grandiose. Just a little attagirl!

That is so beautiful. You SHOULD be so proud of yourself - what an accomplishment!! The longest runs I ever did when I ran were an hour (10 km), so I remember what it takes to do what you did. Very impressed and happy for you!! :D

A lovely memento! xo Terri

Congratulations on your marathon finish! Wasn't it a great feeling when you crossed the finish line? I'm a marathoner, too. Have never run Disney. Would like to run Napa and then celebrate with some wine!

Hello T~ It's always nice stopping by for a visit.
what a cool way to carry a reminder of an awesome accomplishment.
My DIL is a runner and this would be the perfect gift for her next big run.

I hope you can stop by to see the Valentine surprises I've got in store. This week starting with...Pain au Chocolat. I'll put the kettle on for a nice cup of tea.
Sweet wishes,
