Seattle

As I shared here, we spent last weekend in Vancouver BC and Seattle. Boy, did we luck out with the weather there, it was just gorgeous. Blue skies, cool crisp air and not a rain drop in sight!

We had such fun showing our daughter all of the old places we used to go when we spent long weekends in both places during our friendship turned romantic relationship, pre-marriage years. ♥
I have to warn you that there are lots of photos of Pike Place Market. In typical 'MorningT' form, I won't say much, I'll just let you scroll on through the images. ☺

I snuck into a bar at the end of this alley for a quick beer and peek at the Superbowl halftime show.

The sunset was gorgeous on Sunday night!

Incredible dinner at Kastoori Grill (Himalayan restaurant) which is just up from the market.

Strolling back to the hotel to rent a movie and catch some zzzzz's.
A treat from the plane on the flight home. We flew right over Mt. Rainier.

We only had a half day in Seattle and wished we had longer but our little one enjoyed the hilly city stroll {you forget how flat Houston is until you visit the Northwest} and the fish market.

I'll be back with the Vancouver portion of our trip {hold on tight Jeff!!}.

Enjoy the weekend!!

On another note, our Francescas Collection opened this week in our mall. Went there today! Loved it...two shirts, a pair of earrings and a ring. I was all set. Great place for gifts and gifts for me. Thanks for the heads up:)

  3. I really enjoyed your pictures! You have such a sweet family! I bet your daughter had a wonderful time.

We flew into Seattle from Chicago on our way to Vancouver a few years ago. We only had a day there as well. We visited the Public Market, too, but that is before I packed my camera everywhere I went, so needless to say, I enjoyed each and every one of your pics! It rained the day we were there and that was before I knew the amount of rain the Pacific Northwest gets, I thought we brought it with us! lol!

Looking forward to your Vancouver post!
