A special day and a few highlights from our trip

While I wrestle with the clock and make every attempt at getting caught up after Spring Break, I thought I'd share a few pics from our journey with you.

A windmill just outside of Amsterdam as seen from our window on the Thaly's fast train headed towards Bruges, taken a week ago today.
The first photo I snapped on our trip upon arrival into Amsterdam at 9am on Sunday, March 11th. Bright blue skies overhead and dry (no rain) crisp air with temps in the low 50s.
Me and my little monkey on a bridge in Bruges. Today is her 8th Birthday and we have a special family celebration planned after work/school tonite. She had her party with close friends yesterday so it's been a whirlwind of partying these past few days. ☺
Here she is on a carriage ride with daddy in Bruges. She begged us to take a horse drawn carriage tour and we hesitated, but it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in Bruges. Such an amazing place!

Another angle of the windmill as we whipped past at about 150 mph on the train.

Once I sort through the rest of the 250 plus photos from our 5 day trip I'll share them with you.

Today I'm going to focus on celebrating the big #8 with this special girl. xo~
