Re~center and retreat

Retreat? YES
Yoga? YES
Italian countryside? YES

 Sign me up {keep dreaming}!

An entire week full of nothing but yoga, spa treatments, fresh cuisine, local wine, beaches, olive orchards....ah, or shall I say 'OM'.

Check out the gorgeous Santa Maria Del Sole in Puglia, Italy:
Totally unplugged from the rest of the world for an entire week!
Yoga sessions twice each day. Free time in the afternoons for spa treatments or lounging by the pool and a healthy dinner which includes wines from the neighboring vineyards.

These are the 16th century farmhouses which make up the main guest rooms.
Has anyone out there ever gone alone on a yoga or meditation retreat? I'm intrigued....

7 days seems like a bit too much but a 4-day weekend sounds perfect.

Namaste my friends~

    1. You must definitely try it if you haven't. As a runner who doesn't take adequate time to stretch I try to practice yoga 2-3 times per week during my lunches. It can be very addictive once you really get into it.

  2. i went to surf camp once in Mexico. We got up early in the morning and did yoga on the beach before we started surfing. It was incredible. Such an experience. I say go for it if you can get away!

  4. This sounds like a perfect escape! Ahhhh! My friend is a yoga teacher. I have taken a few classes, but I find it difficult. I think meditation class would work better for me. I recognized your last photo as Puglia because I have seen an International House Hunters episode where a lady buys a house in Puglia! It looks beautiful!
