I'm fortunate enough to get to visit my heaven on earth once every year. I anticipate this getaway with bated breath year after year and return home feeling relaxed and energized. Napa California is the perfect getaway combination for us, just enough nature, running and wine for me and just enough of an agenda and exciting places to see for my husband.
I say it repeatedly, but I wish I could just bottle up the Napa air and take a whiff of it every day, ah....
Happy weekend everyone.

We are starting to plan a trip to Napa..however, we have friends with conflicting suggestions about where to stay, eat and which wineries are not to be missed...have you done a post w/traveling suggestions? What about Yountville? Would appreciate names of hotels, etc. featured in this post, too...
ReplyDeleteKudos to you and your commitment to running...quite inspiring!
Hi Laura- We stay in different hotels each year but always in Napa so I can be close to the race start. We stayed at Avia this year and it was phenomenal! Also loved the River Terrace Inn. I always choose a hotel based on tripadvisor reviews so check that out. The Best Western Elm House has been rated #1 for years and we walked inside just to see it this year and it's adorable, very B&B feel to it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I live on the East Coast but have always wanted to visit wine country!
ReplyDeletebeautiful photos tricia. i love napa too. it is heaven on earth!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestions. By the way, your kitchen reno made it feel very stylish and modern with a bit of cottage warmth. Love it!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like heaven on earth indeed! :) I love each picture, it shows how much fun you guys had! :D
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Oh I am so doing a once a year trip to Napa after this crazy college career... amazing! Thanks for sharing all of your pictures, that mud bath looks especially divine!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking that you were getting close to the race! No way I could manage the race part, but it doesn't take much to talk me into going to the wine country! How I love it! xoxo!
ReplyDeleteThat is like Italy to me... without the running, of course
ReplyDeleteY'all enjoy~
BEAUTIFUL thank you T! And you are the perfect model of course. Enjoy it all! Colette x
