Good morning and welcome to stop #18 on Jen Rizzo's holiday home tour . A big thank you to Traci for ending yesterday's tour and sending you my way today.
Come on inside and let's get started!
The reflection of our tree in the mirror.
All of our ornaments have been handed down from my childhood or were made by our precious little girl. My favorite part of decorating for Christmas is pulling each ornament out of the bin with my daughter and reminiscing about the who, what and where each ornament has been and takes us.
I draped fresh garland (found at Whole Foods along with the square wreath on our front door) over the mantle.
I turned the tree lights on for you so you can see her all lit up!
A few last snippets of the family room before we head back into the sun room.
Not much going on in here except for the Christmas goose on the tufted ottoman.
Come on into the kitchen.
Our silly elf was riding the antlers on this day.
Some Westie holiday paintings that hubby had made for me a few years ago.
Candles, frosted pine trees, cookie plates and paper whites.
Now from the kitchen into the dining room. Fresh greens on the light fixture...
....and the top of the wine/server. Some white lights are intertwined with sparkle garland inside this cloche. It's so pretty at night.
Here you can see the glow of the sparkling cloche.
Our elf isn't camera shy!
The dining room table is usually filled with school work, mail, crafts or dinner so keeping the tabletop decor simple is a must!
The burlap ribbon on the door to the kitchen will hold all of our Christmas cards. I'll hang the photo cards at the top once they start rolling in.
From the dining room back to the front entry. Just my wings and a wrought iron tree.
One last twinkle of my tree for you.
And the elf has to make a final appearance. Would you like an Andes mint for the road?
Well this concludes my holiday home tour. Thanks so much for stopping by and spreading holiday cheer! I wish you all a love and health-filled holiday.
Stop #19 on the tour is a surprise house so head there right away! I'll be right behind you.
If you want to take the full tour all over again just click the link to Jen's blog below. A special thanks to Jennifer Rizzo for inviting me to participate again this year. I've scaled back quite a bit on my holiday decor and donated everything that didn't have special meaning to me/us so my house isn't as festively decorated as it's been in years past, but our holiday spirit is high and we appreciate all of our blessings more and more with each passing year. ♥
xoxo and ho ho ho~
